We have multiple new engines and most of the time they either get totally stuck on that track or they at least hesitate before finally powering over it. It's not a big deal if you're not bothered by having to give it a tiny nudge when it gets stuck. My sons actually enjoy setting up a track with that piece in it and several new engines running on it because it's like a relay race ... James gets stuck, then Henry sends him on his way by banging into him from behind. Then, Henry is stuck and Gordon smashes him free. Then Gordon is set free by Edward, etc. **Q: Shown:T&F Trackmaster Sodor Sounds Trk Pk includes 17 pieces; however, I only see 6. Are there more track pieces included in the set that are not shown?** A: I believe it comes with enough track to make a full oval, a sign, and the building that the engines pass by. It's been so long since I bought the pack that I don't really remember and we have so many Thomas things now that I can't keep up with them...lol **Q: Is it easy to be connected to the thomas rides the rails starter set? I mean are there enough pieces to connect them both completely together?** A: All of the trackmaster sets fit well together and do not require extra track. the only exception tothis isthe switches which sometimes are slightly longer than normal pieces. **Q: Are the TrackMaster sets compatible with the Thomas Wooden sets?** A: No, the Trackmaster sets are a different size, shape, and material than the Wooden Sets. ## Frequently Bought Together - Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Sodor Sounds Track Pack Includes 17 Pieces - Thomas & Friends Toy Train Tracks Set, Connect & Build Bucket, 34-Piece Expansion Pack for Diecast & Motorized Trains, Kids Ages 3+ Years --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/4301316-thomas-and-friends-trackmaster-sodor-sounds-track-pack-includes-17](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/4301316-thomas-and-friends-trackmaster-sodor-sounds-track-pack-includes-17) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
