Review: Awesome Camera!! - The pic is an actual close-up pic I took on "macro". When I bought it I took a big risk because there were NO reviews on desertcart, I took the dive. I love this camera! Decent pics and good video quality. The files on pictures is huge if you want them like that, it takes pics in RAW format and Jpeg. Some pics can be 5,000 x 3,800, very big for close-up on your PC. It has more than enough features, it has the ability to manually control some of the settings, so its not just a point-and-shoot camera. The 67x telephoto is awesome! This camera gives me just what I wanted, but remember that it won't take SD cards that are 64 GB, which to me it doesn't matter because I don't like to put 3,000 pics on a single SD card because I might lose it or it can go corrupt. I like to keep my pics separate on different egg baskets. The good things outweigh the bad things with this camera. I'm keeping it!

**Q: Is lens threaded to accept filters and if so what size filter can be used?**
A: Yes, the lens on the Minolta Pro Shot IS threaded to accept filters.  The filter diameter is 49 mm.  A UV/Haze filter, or Skylight filter is a great "insurance policy" for any camera lens. It takes all the "hits" from blowing sand, rain, oily fingers, objects dropped on the glass lens, etc.  The filter can easily be cleaned, or cheaply replaced (not so, the original lens).  A UV/Haze or Skylight filter will optimize the image, without adding colors.  I put a 49 mm UV/Haze filter on my Minolta Pro Shot.  DWD 08-29-2021

**Q: Is the lens glass or plastic?**
A: The lens is glass. It is a very good camera.

A: Yes. It is inside a door on the bottom of the camera and pops right out.

Came with a dead battery, that after charging for 6 hours took 7 photos before dying again!! My son is absolutely devastated as it was a Christmas present!! Never again!!
