Stronger than they look. - These are working great and Are stronger than I had anticipated. I created bookcase doors that rotate open to reveal a storage space. Tge heavy cases are on wheels, so the hinges do not support the weight: but they act beautifully to anchor the cases for rotating. Review: Install a bit tricky - As stated in the headline these hinges are a bit tricky to install for proper operation. With over 30 years in the trades, I still had to seriously think things over before figuring out a way to get them installed with decent reveals. Don't know that I'd recommend these hinges to anyone who didn't understand the mechanical and cosmetic constraints involved when hanging swing type doors. Used these hinges for exterior barn doors I built and am happy with them so far. The doors were well under the recommended weight limits at less than 60 pounds each and after two months or so of use they seem to be holding up well. They are virtually invisible with the doors closed and the slight offset out was a big plus for their operation. I like that the design makes the hinges almost invisible. It also made it pretty easy to install the door as I attached the hinges to the bottom & top of the door first, then it was pretty straight forward to attach them to the wall with the doors swung open.
