They do not come with hardware si if you can't use the existing hardware be sure to have new on hand. They are very easy to change as long as you can handle the tailgate, which must be fully removed. The hinges are marked left and right for correct placement and fit perfectly. Once installed the gate fits right back in and works very smoothly. The weather resistance is important and hopefully will outlast the vehicle. For the price these hinges are an excellent buy. I ordered 2 sets but sold one set , very quickly, for the price I paid. They are definitely much sturdier than the factory hinges, nice upgrade. Installation was pretty straight forward. The factory hinges have two spacers behind them. When my tailgate didn't fit, I had to take the hinges off the truck and remove one spacer on each side. Some other reviews suggest skipping the spacers altogether.
