I've just ordered the 4100 on Amazon. I don't have the serial number yet, because the product doesn't arrive until tomorrow, but SonicCare customer service just told me that they would send the free plug adapter once I provide the model number and serial number to them. They confirmed there is no charnge. It will take 7-10 days to receive the plug adapter once I am able to provide them with the serial number.
