Brilliant for the price.

So i've bought quite a few premium pencils such as tracer and the like in the past and they all stop functioning properly within a few days and at best a couple of weeks. Especially tracer deep hole marking pencils so i thought i would try these out and i'm glad i did. They dont come with a holster and it doesn't require one. The deep hole markers have a screw on pencil sharpener lid unlike others that just pop on so no chance of loosing it. It still sends the lead out properly and stays in place. Not sliding back up the shaft like others or not coming out at all. So the deep hole marker is a very reliable pencil the 2mm lead pencil is also great if you want a finer point for more accurate marking. This too is a reliable pencil though if you drop it it can break the lead easier and you end up using a little more lead than expected but with plenty of refill leads this isn't an issue. I would deffinately recommend these pencils for the above reasons and they are value for money. The deep hole markers as well as the 2mm lead pencils come with one holding lead and one holding the coloured wax respectively so no need to keep swapping out the leads and colours.

The Enhon 4-pack carpenter pencil set with sharpener is a decent budget option that does the job reasonably well. The pencils work fine for general marking tasks, and you get quite a lot for the price, which definitely needs to be taken into account when buying them. They’re good value overall, especially if you tend to go through pencils regularly on site or in the workshop. That said, the lower price does come at the expense of quality. They don’t feel as durable or refined as more premium carpenter pencils, but for the money they perform well enough. Pros: Very good value for money Multiple pencils included in the set Comes with a sharpener Works well for general marking tasks Good for everyday site use Cons: Quality isn’t the best Less durable than premium alternatives Finish and feel are fairly basic Overall, a good budget set that offers strong value, as long as you understand you’re trading a bit of quality for the lower price.

These are mechanical pencils they come with two different colours a natural lead and yellow and red perfect for the kind of work that we carry out metal engineering and carpentry very good value for money strongly recommend to get this set to anyone.

Very good joinery pencils Have dropped off ladders without issues. Built in sharpener works great. Has also improved my colouring in. No improvement with crosswords however.

I've been using the set for a while now, so I feel I can give a pretty reliable review. You get 4 pencils and a lot of refills with the order but the quality is not great. The pencils feel quite cheap and sometimes the bits need to be tightened because they have the tendency to get loose; they are very light and the overall feeling is quite plastic-y. The lead sharpeners are good to have but not always straight forward to use: - on the deep hole pencils they are screw-type and there is a lot of screwing to get them out - on the standard pencil they just need to be pulled out, but they don't come out easily. Sometimes I just gave up. The grey leads are OK, but the red and yellow ones are too soft and brittle. While it's true that they write on multiple surfaces (the red and yellow only), they break very easily so you can end up refilling the pencil more frequently than expected. I've ended up using mainly the grey leads because I got annoyed with the coloured ones as many times they snapped halfway through a mark making the line not very accurate. When I use the coloured ones, I mainly do without sharpening them as it keeps the line a bit more constant, but this is possible only when lower accuracy is needed. Another issue I'm having is that when I refill them I need to do it from the writing end because if I do it from the top end, for some reason, the lead does not pass through the mechanism. So, refilling takes longer than anticipated and I need to throw away the smaller pieces that remain from the previous lead.

Also, grundsätzlich erfüllen die Stifte die beworbene Funktion. Die unterschiedlichen Mienen/Farben schreiben auf unterschiedlichen Materialien unterschiedlich gut. Was gibt es klar zu stellen? Ja, es sind nur 28 Mienen und keine 40 dabei. 4 x 6 Stück Ersatzbirnen und je eine im Stift. Also 4 x 7 Stück macht 28. Es ist schade, daß die Beschreibung nicht stimmt. Das Problem mit dem verlorenen Drücker! Gesteckt oder geschraubt? Es ist auf meinem Foto zu erkennen, daß der Spitzer ein Gewinde hat und in den Drücker eingeschraubt wird. Dieser geht also nicht verloren, aber der Drücker hat natürlich seine Funktion und darf dadurch nicht "fest" sein. Der Drücker ist also nur gesteckt und ist mit auch schon abgefallen. Der Drücker kann aber auf die innere Mechanik aufgeklebt werden, damit er hält. Also IN das Loch des Drückers etwas Sekundenkleber und dann fest eindrücken und schon geht er nicht mehr verloren. Aber Vorsicht! Keinen Kleber außen drauf machen, sonst ist seine Funktion dahin! Eine neue Miene wird (und kann nun auch nicht mehr) von hinten in den Stift eingeführt, sondern von der Spitze. Ich denke, so ist es auch gedacht. Es ist schade, daß man erst selber Hand anlegen muss und es nicht von Anfang an fest ist. Vermutlich sitzt der Entwickler mit seinem Stift in seinem Büro. So konnte er noch nicht feststellen, daß man den Drücker auf der Baustelle verlieren kann. Die Grundkörper sind alle aus Kunststoff, was auch nicht gerade baustellentauglich ist. Aber es entspricht dem Preis und war somit zu erwarten. Am meisten gefällt mir der kleine integrierte Spitzer. Dieser ist äußerst praktisch und funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Über den kleinen Konstruktionsfehler kann ich hinweg schauen und gebe gern eine Kaufempfehlung.
