I used this in my 2011 and now in my 2015 and it has helped with fuel economy. Ford also makes an anti gel additive that can also be used in the 6.7L. **Q: Can i run both pm-22a cetane booster and pm-23-a anti-gel?** A: Yes I used to do all the time. **Q: Amazon product description says: ... promotes fuel stability stops algae growth ... Is this true about stopping algae? Have not seen this claim befor** A: I just went and read the description on amazon, don't see a mention about algae growth, I've used this product while my truck was under warranty. if you are worried about algae growth amazon does sell a product specifically for algae growth but unless you are finding a lot of water in your fuel and use your vehicle regularly I wouldn't worry to much about it. if you are finding water, change gas stations. **Q: Will this help in the winter months as an antigel.** A: I've never used PM-22, but I know that it isn't meant to be used for the winter months. You want PM-23-A for that purpose. I've used PM-23-A for the northern Virginia winter months and my 6.4L kept right on going. Got down to about -5 degrees F for a few days. Truck had no problem starting and remaining running. For the record, pourability is affected for both PM-22 and PM-23-A at lower temperatures. I can tell the difference when it's not added to the fuel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by B***L on 19 April 2015* The best additive I have used in my 2008 powerstroke (6.4). I have noticed that the regen isn't running as often - this is a BIG PLUS! Gas mileage improved by about 1 mpg. Not much, but I don't drive like an old lady, either. I haven't towed with it yet, so we'll see if it helps there. However, I am happy with the results so far. Really, I have tried everything. Optilube, Stanidyne, etc. etc. Some seemed to have absolutely no effect whatsoever. Some helped for a little while and then seemed to fall off. I've used this product now for a few months, now. Drove a long distance for vacation and it helped quite bit. Usually, by the end of a long day of driving, the turbo boost stays fairly high. I believe it is likely the DPF is not clearing as quickly, so the engine must work harder. This time, the boost stayed lower for the entire length of the 400 miles. I will be towing in a few weeks and that'll be the big test.
