However, these are still number one choice where a lot of correction is not needed and more support is required Or, just a more comfortable grip compared to the round pencil is desired since the shape is a lot easier to use than the round pencils. The pencils are comfortable (not as comfortable as the original Ticonderoga soft-touch, but still softer than most pencils) and easy to use. The size, shape, and the sturdiness of the pencil is great! The eraser is one of the best I have ever used. The sharpener does work, but it does take some practice and some resharpening at times. So, your pencil can be used up quicker than normal. It does seem to depend sometimes on the pencil that you pull out of the box; some are easier than others. I also have other sharpeners that it works well with and you don't have to do that with.
