As you can see in the video, it's fairly thick and does have some weight to it. The handle is very strong and the press as a whole is very strong and sturdy. Even with the heat of a BBQ grill, the metal doesn't bend, even when pressing down on the burgers. I've used this grill press on my flattop grill, charcoal BBQ grill, propane BBQ grill and even inside when on a frying pan. I've used this grill for hamburgers, bacon and even thinly sliced chicken for sandwiches. I found that with this press, it helps keep meat flat but at the same time, gives it a nice crunch as well. After each use, I just hand wash this in the sink and it's clean again. I've used and washed this several times now and not only is the handle still intact but the metal shows no signs or rusting. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Could of been perfect.....if only *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on 18 April 2021* Nice even weight, good overall feel BUT the major flaw is the handle.Not an ideal product when the hand grip spins as you are applying pressure while moving in different directions. This makes zero sense that it wouldn't be one solid piece. You're not going to unscrew it for washing and sanitizing... so what's the point? Keep it solid (we understand the wood being a "cool to the touch" handle but crappie little screws?
