What I have found is that the gas needs to be lower than I expected and I need to be patient when allowing the oven to come up to operating temperature, it is very easy to 'over-heat' the oven and risk getting burnt food.

**Q: Is there a way to remove the cover of the thermometer? The needle is stuck at 25°C and won't move.**
A: My thermometer is resting at about the same place, which is about room temperature. It isn’t really necessary for cooking because after a while you learn where to set your burners for the best outcomes. Does the indicator still rise okay when you’re cooking? If so, just learn the best temperatures for what you’re cooking. In my opinion, this little cooker is a great invention—seldom need to heat a big oven anymore. Hints: buy the black non-stick pan for roasted veggies and casseroles, and add the trivet for bread and muffin-type items so the bottoms don’t burn.

Super achat. Il permet de cuire et de réchauffer facilement. Je ne pensais pas que ce serait aussi pratique pour nos balades en van. Plus compact qu’il n’y paraît. J’ai ajouté les inserts en silicone ce qui me permet de faire cuire la viande d’un côté et le gratin de l’autre. Le thermomètre est un plus pour ajuster la température.
