Then connect MoCA to router with ethernet to get internet signal. Connect MoCA to a different coax connector on the wall. Then connect MoCA at other location with coax to wall. Check signal to make sure coax connects two end points coming out of wall. **Q: I want to extend internet to a room using the coax for cable tv. will this interfere with tv? what splitter should i use?** A: it wont interfere you just need a 2.5 splitter at least **Q: I have 3 seperate coax cables for each room can I use a splitter at the router's moca to send the signal to each of the 3 cables?** A: To clarify my understanding each room has a coax port that is not connected to a splitter at the moment, and you're plan is to take all of those and put them on a splitter from the MoCA node near your router? If so, yes that should work, my setup is similar just my splitter is on a different floor of the house. I have 2 separate ports downstairs and 2 ports upstairs, all of them router to a closet, but they didn't have a splitter. So I purchased a splitter and had the port upstairs near the router split out to the other 3 ports. 2 of those 3 ports are MoCA nodes.
