The standard will not cover the whole windshield. Source: I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra & the current one I have is a standard size & it doesn’t fit. When I searched for a replacement that would fit my 2014 Ford Escape, this one came up. I liked the idea that it folds down small enough to stash in a back seat pocket, and I no longer have to wrestle a giant sunshade around whenever I have passengers. It's easy to pop open and fold closed. The storage bag even has a QR code that appears to link to a folding tutorial. I didn't watch it since I used a similar shade years ago and still remembered the technique, but it's nice that the option is there. The fit is good overall. The Velcro opening around the rearview mirror is a little annoying, and I can see myself giving up on using that before long. You also need to take a second to tuck the corners in place to get the best coverage, which is another step some people will probably skip. Those minor complaints aside, this has been a great upgrade for me. It's easier to store, easier to handle, and it does the job well.
