It just wasn't anything really special. I normally have very fair pale skin, so it's not easy for me to get that "deep tan" look. But this lotion hits all the marks for me. It's not greasy, it doesn't stain your hands or leave too much residue, it smells nice, and actually gives you results. I noticed some reviews saying it doesn't get "hot." It's not really supposed to I don't believe, that's just the name of it. This doesn't bother me at all though because I like to have a relaxing tan - I don't like the tingles or burning or any of that.
