Are these compliant?** A: No. The Scottish law requires an interlinked heat alarm and this company do not make them nor are compatible with other brands. Do not buy in Scotland. **Q: Do these alarms meet the new Scottish Domestic fire and smoke alarms requirements (in force from February 2022)?** A: No - The upcoming Scottish law change requires that the battery is not removable, or that they're mains powered. These alarms have a removable CR123A battery, making them not compliant. **Q: Do these alarms meet the new Scottish Domestic fire and smoke alarms requirements (in force from February 2022)?** A: No the product is not compliant with new Scottish lawas no matter what the seller claims - batteries systems must be "sealed units tamper proof" units and any with user replaceable batteries do not comply **Q: Can you get a heat detector compatible with these smoke alarms as I’m in Scotland and the new law is to have a heat detector** A: I purchased these and couldn’t get a heat alarm. The company offered to refund less than half the money I paid if I removed my review which I refused as they are not compliant with the new Scottish law.
