You need to be careful when releasing parts, a good sharp craft knife will do this - DO NOT try to just pop the parts out by hand. Some of the clip together joints are tight (they need to be), so this is quite punishing on your finger and thumb ends...I suggest an hour or two, then leave off for a day. Total assembly is about four to six hours, but you MUST follow the instructions and each step carefully. I was actually well impressed. Not sure I can finance another one (or especially another 3), but I'm intrigued to see how an assembly of four would work. The 1 and two star reviews are unwarranted in my view. The pieces are sometimes difficult to remove but if you are patient and think about it, they can be removed quite simply. And yes, the pieces are a tight fit (which makes it a robust model). Again patience is required and a diligent use of pliers without excessive force always does the trick. This particular run actually has four separate tracks which the marbles determine themselves and then it resets itself every fourth marble. Quite brilliant. Complaints about the chain are nonsense. As long as you sandpaper the chain parts before assembly to remove burrs and, once assembled, rub on the supplied wax - no problem. Mine runs as smooth as anything.
