Try removing tip and replacing. If it still squeaks remove again and rub a tiny drop of WD40 and replace. If you don't have WD40 use drop of cooking oil or liquid dish soap. To remove tip easily sit on chair and place a foot on top of two sides of cane tip. Put weight on your feet and pull cane up. Makes it easy for this old lady to do it on her own. **Q: Will this tip fit on a DMI walking cane with regular tip?** A: If a β€œDMI” cane has a removable tip, it may fit. But I’m not certain what a DMI cane is, sorry. **Q: Is there such a thing as an Odorless cane base?
