If you have 1 then yes. If you have 2 or more external monitors then no. **Q: What's the point of this if there's only two Thunderbolt ports? It seems like a zero-sum.** A: Good point. I felt the same way when my customer asked for one of these. But, she wanted to save desk space so we got it (and she was happy). Also, she was damaging cables when having to frequently attach/detach from the Mac and having the cable “permanently” attached to the dock helped with that. Even so, the two ports were insufficient and we ended up adding the Brydge Stone Pro (attached under the desk) for more ports (incl ethernet, DisplayPort, etc). We did need a longer Thunderbolt cable than what was provided with the Stone Pro but I had to try several because not all of them would work! In the end, she was happy to have both. **Q: This states this dock will only fit macbook air m1s that include the touch bar. is this a typo or wil this not fit a traditional m1 mb air?** A: The original question was not answered. Under the heading "tech specs" (on the Amazon page for this item) the seller states "This Vertical Dock is for MacBooks with Touch Bars only. It will not work with MacBooks without Touch Bars." This must be a mistake and should be corrected as it appears the MacBook Air (no touch bar) works just fine with this dock. I assume the seller just missed the keyword ***PRO*** as the Bridge website states "MacBook PRO docks compatible with Touch Bar models only." . The seller does not use the word "air" or "pro" so for the reader it is a bit of a head scratcher. This should be corrected as it is confusing and contradictory.
