First off, my stand is a doe stand, I don’t see a lot of bucks until the rut. I was also skeptical because the deer on our hunting property are hesitant to try anything new and persimmons are not common where we hunt. In fear of messing up my hunt, I put it out a few weeks prior to the start of the season. Holy cow, the next day, I had 2 young bucks checking it out during daylight hours then about an hour prior to last shooting light, 2 big beautiful bucks came into my food plot and found this within minutes. The next morning, there were 3 bucks on it. I was seriously blown away and the best part was that I proved my husband wrong! This was so affordable compared to other miners attractants that I tried.
