Use Case: - I was spray painting compass points on some paver stones so I needed a stencil for the different layers The Good: - Thick and stiff. It's got a hefty thickness to it. Takes a heavier hand to cut it cleanly but that's not a bad thing because when it comes time to use it the areas extending that might be thinner don't easily lift or move. - Opaque. This is a good or bad depending on how you are using it and your preference. I put the design on top to lay out my cut lines and it wasn't a problem for me. I also like that I can easily see the design against the background. Some might like a crystal clear stencil to lay on top of an image. You can still lay this on top and trace but it might be more difficult for smaller details. I don't think I would have an issue using it either way. For multiple layers I believe it to be a positive. - Reusable. You don't have to toss them if you intend to recreate the same image. They will last you as long as you need them. The Bad: - Nothing that affected my process. Some might like a clear stencil so they would need to look elsewhere. The Facts: - Solid product. Worked very well for my needs. I have a plenty of leftover for the next project.

I LOVE these stencil sheets! They are strong and sturdy enough to stand up to use after use, but they aren't so heavy that you can't cut them with crafting scissors. (NEVER use your sewing scissors! LOL) A lot of times, I will use these to make templates for small sewing projects, and they work wonderful. Great quality. I have purchased more than once, and I will continue to buy this brand.

These are great for quilting/ embroidery templates. they cut easy with scissors & are comparable in thickness to some disposable cutting mats I have used for the same purpose. I think it's a great deal . They are clear so I can easily trace a coloring page or a paper pattern . I haven't cut through them by accident yet , they are a bit thicker than what I usually use which is GREAT . Holding up well so far . They were just as described. I would buy them again

A little tough to make hand stencils but it worked after some extensive pressure.

These Mylar sheets work great in the cricut for making stencils. I love the fact that now I can make my own stencils either from cricut design space or I design my own. They work fantastic.

I purchased the 7 mil after struggling (and ultimately failing) to cut the 10 mil size with my Cricut Explore Air 2. This thickness is slightly floppier than the 10 mil, but it's certainly still adequate for a stencil. I used the exact settings that the seller has listed in the photos: Stencil Film - 0.4 mm, 2x, deep cut blade, and it worked perfectly - no weeding required! Because there's no way I will remember those settings for next time, I just created a custom material called "Stencil 7 mil" with the following settings: Cut Pressure: 341 Multi-cut: 2x Blade Type: Deep-Point Blade Adding a custom material in Cricut Design Space can be confusing, so here are the steps I followed. While in any project, click "Make" and then "Continue." Set the dial on your machine to Custom. In Design Space, click "Browse All Materials," then "Material Settings" in the bottom left of that window. Scroll to the very bottom and click "Add New Material." Add the name of the material, then Save. Then set the parameters and save again. Hope this helps!
