(Multiple sellers attach to the same listing, so sometimes it is not exactly the same) My kit did come with the intelitone probe, however. **Q: When you said "no useful cdp info, needs a firmware update. useless as a brick". what cdp info should it show? was the firmware updated for this?** A: Wonder if CDP was even enabled on the port? If CDP or LLDP is disabled for the port the tester will not and cannot report any information as the switch is set not to broadcast any data on the discovery protocol. Also must be a Cisco switch capable of CDP to talk CDP. Non Cisco switches can hear CDP but cannot broadcast unless the manufacture has licensed CDP from Cisco. **Q: Is this a "certifier" and if so, what tier ?
