This wrench is made in particular to handle larger nuts/bolts, so it might be larger than you need for a 9/16 inch nut or bolt. But, since it will accommodate a variety of nut/bolt sizes, it's a great tool. And it's not as large as most wrenches that will handle bigger nuts/bolts.
