**Q: The picture shows one (1) threader, but the title says: dritz machine needle inserter & threader 3/box, multi.  is there one (1) or three (3)?**
A: This device does TWO things; a) holds sewing needle so it's easier to change the needle, and b) helps thread the needle after it's in the machine. Therefore, it is a "needle inserted & threader."

**Q: The picture shows one (1) threader, but the title says: dritz machine needle inserter & threader 3/box, multi.  is there one (1) or three (3)?**
A: There must be more than one as I bought #253:and it is too big for my smaller needle eye....I wish their explanation was more clear as this one does not work for me.

**Q: What is square cutout hole by inserter for? Every brand I see has this hole**
A: The square hole by the needle inserted is most likely there to 1. Save material (plastic) used during manufacture, keeping cost down, and 2. May aid in the releasing  finished threader from the mold.

**Q: My grandmother cannot see the loop on the traditional aluminum needle threaders; would this be easier to use for a person with a visual impairment?**
A: If your grandmother is threading needles for hand sewing, this will not work.  This will work for her nicely, if she is threading a sewing machine.  For hand sewing threading, I LOVE the  Dritz 202 led Needle Threader with Cutter. $5.47 Amazon Prime  It even has a little led light , which is helpful also!
