It is a 2 piece cast metal plaque on my lighter, which appears to be pewter, applied to the case. Not apparent how it is attached but it appears to be glued or soldered. My lighter is dated J 19 so is October 2019 production. Case with plaque is 0.600" thick at the thickest while a normal Zippo case is 0.504" thick so the plaque adds almost 0.100" to case thickness and 0.55 ounce to the weight, 2 ounces versus 2.55 ounces. I just received the lighter so no idea of the permanence of the plaques attachment. **Q: what is its size?** A: The same size as all zippo's. A little taler than my thumb and a little shorter than it in length. Its a great Zippo i love it it looks great. And its a great size. **Q: what is the zippo number on the bottom of the case?** A: Hello Kevin. This is the date code that shows when the Zippo lighter was manufactured.
