**Q: is this hard plastic? or does it bend easily?**
A: It is pretty stiff, but will bend gently and slightly ~10-30 degrees under pressure, rather than break.  But left alone, it stays straight.

**Q: What the uncertainty principle on this goniometer?**
A: I'm not sure I understand the question. I used it to measure my knee after total knee replacement. It lets you know the degrees of where your at for the curve and when its straight. 12 years ago your knee had to be 180 for it to be straight and then they liked it around 110 for the bend. Last year when I had the other knee done you came out of surgery at 180 degrees so you only needed to measure for the bending of your knee

**Q: Will this work for elbow ?**
A: It is designed to measure angles of joints, so although its larger size accomodates hip and knee joints, it also may be used to check elbows.

**Q: What is the radius of the ruler?**
A: From the center pivot to the end of the arms is ~10".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Knee Replacement Aid

I liked that I could keep track of my range of motion at home before going to PT after my knee replacement. When I went to PT I could compare the results and the results were very accurate. The price is right and this is a good tool to use at home while doing those important exercises. Keeing track of the bend and straightness of your knee gives you the motivation to continue on your path of recovery or try a little harder between PT visits.
