The width and depth measurements were taken on the lid. **Q: Are you an authorized dealer of Pelican? I don't see either name on the Pelican website as part of their authorized supplier network** A: No **Q: Can the carry handle be removed?** A: Yes, you can remove the handle. There is an hexagon screw/bolt that connects the handle to the cooler.
