**Q: Can i use the bridge that i currently use for my ring flood light for both devices at the same time**
A: Yes. I had a series of outdoor flood lights and solar path lights on a single bridge and just added the outlet to sync up my backyard string lights. Works perfectly all on a same bridge.

**Q: Do I need a ring bridge even if I have the full ring alarm system?**
A: Yes the Ring Bridge is needed for this device.

**Q: This product is tripping my gfci outdoor outlet when nothing else is plugged in. Is this an issue for others and how do I fix this?**
A: Make sure your plugging the Ring Smart Plug directly into the power outlet and not via a power strip or extension cord.  

Check the amperage ratings/fuses of your outlets.  The Ring Smart Plug is rates at 15amps.  

Lastly, you may have one or more GFCI protected outlets upstream of your outdoor outlet that are in use.  Check all the upstream outlets on the same circuit.
