Review: Does the Job for a Great Price - This cable was exactly what I needed, and does the job perfectly. I've always had issues with cheap USB 3 cables. If not properly shielded, they can interfere with wireless keyboards and mice, and cause all sorts of troubleshooting headaches. This StarTech cable is absolutely not one of those low-quality cables. I've had no issues at all with this cable. It worked right away and I was able to get full USB 3.0 speeds out of it. I haven't noticed any interference, either. Overall a painless setup and I can see this cable giving many years of trouble-free service. StarTech has been my go-to brand whenever I need a cable--and for good reason. Every single cable I've purchased from them has been top quality, every item is meticulously documented with its own datasheet (just look up the model number on their website), and their warranty is fantastic. This USB cable is no exception. Review: Better than the included cable on my USB Drive - I was getting error faults with a new USB hard drive case. I installed this cable and all errors disappeared. ## Features - M/M - USB cable - USB Type A (M) to USB Type B (M) - USB 30 - 6 ft ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003WV5DNS | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,924 in USB Cables | | Brand | StarTech.com | | Brand Name | StarTech.com | | Cable Type | USB | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Laptop | | Compatible Phone Models | Potentially compatible with older smartphones, specific models unknown | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Male | | Connector Type | Usb, Usb 3.0 | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 920 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 5000 megabits_per_second | | Ethernet Cable Category | Cat 5 | | Frequency | 5 GHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00065030839655 | | Included Components | StarTech.com 6 ft / 2m Black SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Cable A to B - USB 3 A (m) to USB 3 B (m) (USB3SAB6BK) | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Length | 6 feet | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 22.68 g | | Manufacturer | StarTech.com | | Model | USB3SAB6BK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 9 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Braided | | Part Number | USB3SAB6BK | | Recommended Uses For Product | transferring data | | Special Feature | Braided | | Specification Met | No | | UPC | 065030839655 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Lifetime warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** StarTech.com - **Cable Type:** USB - **Compatible Devices:** Laptop - **Connector Type:** Usb, Usb 3.0 - **Special Feature:** Braided ## Images ![StarTech 6ft USB 5Gbps A to B Cable Male to Male Black, 2m (USB3SAB6BK) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Tspgon09L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the Job for a Great Price *by N***Y on September 16, 2022* This cable was exactly what I needed, and does the job perfectly. Well, this new one here does not have that problem at all! I would say, even if something comes with a cable or some sort - get more - the ones being put into the box with your products is literally the cheapest crap you can find - do you want the cheapest crap?
