I thought the 1st one failed because I couldn't get it to restart after three nights of working just fine. I wrote to seller, and they sent me a free replacement. Now that I've learned how to operate these unusual controls, I decided to test the "old broken" one again. To my surprise, tonight it works fine! So maybe the 1st one wasn't broken... might have been a case of complex controls and user unfamiliarity! Or... will it work for a few nights and then fail again? I decided to get the Vitruvi since this one only lasted over a year: when the Vitruvi came in: Blah, way smaller, itty bitty, did NOT produce the scent this Vivitest provided and after about a month, it began to give me problems, so I was totally bummed about the quality, seemed like they spent a bigger portion of their budget on amazing packaging versus the quality of the item. No lights, nothing. We didn't use it a lot, but it was nice to use from time to time until it quit.
