Enough to go through 1/8 lether?** A: These don't have spike shanks, they are a rivet-type snap that has to be set with an expansion tool. The rivet spikes are just a little over 1/8" long, so they might work through 1/8" leather. However, they do not include the setting tool with the fasteners, even though they show them in the picture! I managed to use a center-punch to set the rivet, but I struggled with it, and ruined several of the snaps before I got it to work. Beware! **Q: Will the hike punch cut thru fleece like fabric easily and do you have to seal the fabric edges?** A: Punch will easily cut fleece with a cut backer. You will definitely need something to back the fleece when setting the snaps. With fleece I recommend a 3mil plastic or a decent "glued" leather or vinyl. **Q: Are these suitable for curtains located joutdoor (Extreme weather)?** A: Yes, snaps are outdoor quality ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A quick fix for my bag *by J***S on October 2, 2026* It was an emergency situation. Priced reasonably and well made this kit has everything you need to make a lasting difference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, compact, fixed a lost snap on a pair of pants *by E***R on July 23, 2026* Simple, works as advertised. Compact, stores in the sewing kit easily. The post-side of a snap on a pair of pants had popped out, so I used it to repair that part, and it worked with the (apparently fairly standard) remaining front part of the snap. So far, so good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Raydodo 12 Set Leather Snap Fasteners Kit, 15mm Metal Snap Buttons Kit Press Studs with 4 Install Tools, Rivets and Snaps for Clothing, Jeans, Jackets, Bracelets, Bags (Black) - Ringsun 1 Inch Wide Flat Leather Straps for Crafts, Full Grain Leather Strips Cord String for Crafts, Tooling (2mm Thick 72.5 Inches Long Black) - Selizo 480 Sets 4 Colors 3 Sizes Leather Rivets Double Cap Rivet Tubular Metal Studs with 3 Pieces Setting Tool Kit for Leather Craft Repairs Decoration --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ni/products/270888953-raydodo-15mm-metal-snap-button-fasteners-kit-with-tools-black](https://www.desertcart.ni/products/270888953-raydodo-15mm-metal-snap-button-fasteners-kit-with-tools-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Nicaragua* *Store origin: NI* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
