### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works. Iffy Materials, But No Issues.

I've owned this volume/mute device for a couple months. I feel like I can give it a fair review. I bought this because the earbud/mic that came with PS4 is so tiny (and only goes in one ear). I was using my workout earbuds, but those don't have a mute button. And you know... sometimes you just need that mute button. I was excited when I found the adjustR. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It even had the "bonus" feature of volume adjustment. Another player always messes with the headset volume. I figured the volume control would help me with that. The short review is that I like it. Four stars because the build quality is only so-so. However, I'm not banging it into the wall or floor. If I treat it carefully I don't think it will break. The long review. Initial impressions: It felt like a piece of junk out of the box. It's very light, and like I mentioned above the build quality does not seem very high. The mute switch worked and the volume control dial was smooth. So far, okay. Use: I plugged everything in and, voila, it all worked. For the volume I ended up having to set the console output to Max and then adjusted down on the adjustR dial. It takes a little bit of fiddling to get the unit plugged in. You want to make sure the unit is seated all the way in. I've noticed anytime I move the 3.5mm pin with the adjustR or straight in with the earbuds it causes static. Warning: I've been told the adjustR can cause static on my friends lines. They even sent me audio clips of the noise. I think this was cause by not seating the adjustR all the way in. I've been playing with it the past couple of weeks with no complaints. Conclusion: If you want to use your existing earbuds with your PS4 I recommend the adjustR. It's not perfect, but it does the job. It's cheaper than buying headphones or the Vita earbuds. If you want a perfect solution and want to spend the extra $15 or so, I think the Vita earbuds are a good option.
