Review: Bare wires, no fuse taps. Great 3 wire kit for Viofo cameras - Bought this for my 1984 car. As other reviews have pointed out, this kit does not come with any fuse taps, Instead just bare wire for you to install, either into fuse taps. Or in my case, crimp ring terminals in and install into my own fuse box. As such I would say this is perfect for me, not buying anything I would not need, however I am aware my install would be a rare case. I have the voltage selector set to the highest voltage, I have had no issues starting the car after the camera has been in parking mode for over 24h

A: Hi, that is correct, the hardwire kit replaces the need for the cigarette lighter power supply. The hardwire connects to the vehicle fuse system with fuse taps. Kind Regards.

A: No.

This kit allows you to wire the dashcam directly into the car battery. It is a case of either having one or the other. 

I think this is the least intrusive and tidiest solution with wires placed behind the vehicle's interior decoration.

**Q: Does it connect both cameras?**
A: Hi, the hardwire kit connects to the front camera; the rear camera is powered from the front camera via the cable. Kind Regards.

Bought this for my 1984 car. As other reviews have pointed out, this kit does not come with any fuse taps, Instead just bare wire for you to install, either into fuse taps.
