I have not continually used since then but i have used it for approximately 6 or 7 grows through flower for marijuana i have always had it hooked to a carbon filter. The unit works great and does the job for me moves good air and aids the filter to remove the smell from the very stinky flowers of my marijuana. So 6 or 7 runs now of approximately 2 months give or take a week at 12 hours a day it has been running. Right now im half way through another grow and still doing its job with no issues no extra noise. I have only had good experience with this unit and i would recommend to anyone needing a good 4 inch round duct fan to move air for what ever reason u need. Just hook up a dryer hose and move the air. Very easy to use. Im about to buy another one as i just had another model give out i know this one performs. I will stick with this model. One of the bearings has failed and the motor shaft is rusty where the bearing inner race goes. The duct they were used in was dry, no water, no dirt or dust so no real reason for a failure. Other units (NuTone) have lasted for 10's of years with no noises or failures. Have a muffler and an enclosure made from 2" fiberglass ceiling tiles...back looking for something else. **Q: How loud is this fan?** A: Best value for the money...If you have ever lived anywhere that had A/C compressors outside of your window...it's as loud as that. Yes, what you here is more the whooshing from the air movement than the fan motor. Too help with that...I ran my exhaust tubing to the back of the tent...away from the door...helped a lot.. Also; there is no "hum" in this controller whatsoever. A problem I had with another brand. Hung motor using HD zip ties...stopping any potential vibration...This fan is also very strong...I have to run it as low as it goes...more than enough...kinda too much for the 2 X 4 X 6. As a kicker...Vivosun has been around for a long time and have always treated me right.BUY IT it you'll like it!.... **Q: Is it discret shipping?** A: No discrete shipping. The box has Vivosun's name and inline fan all over the box. Amazon doesn't tell you that. They do on some things but this isn't one of them. **Q: How many watts would this fan use running it at say half volume using the included controller?** A: If the information for the electrical rating is correct as stated. The fan at full speed draws 1.1 amps. That would be 132 watts at full speed so one could conclude an approximate watt draw of 66 watts. But electricity being what it is and the construction of the component parts I believe you could safely say 75-100 watts. Oh well ... live and learn. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***R on 25 October 2025* Nutze den Rohrventilator zusammen mit einem DN110 KG-Rohr um zwei Lasergravuerer abzusagen. Die Laser haben jeweils einen DN75 Anschluss. Die Leistung reicht auf voller Stufe aus um beide gleichzeitig abzusagen. Dabei ist der Ventillator überraschend leise. Wäre in meiner Werkstatt nicht so wichtig, aber ist schon angenehm. In mir eine Kaufempfehlung! Die DN110 Rohre passen leider. Icht perfekt auf den Ventilator. Der Innendurchmesser der Röhre ist 2-3mm zu groß.
