After one week of using these there are noticeable scratches. I wish they had a softer tip. **Q: are these lenses very dark?** A: They are not so dark that your sight is hindered. I wear them for driving and find them to be perfect. **Q: is it fragile?** A: It is lightweight which makes it comfortable, but does not seem fragile. **Q: Do these have spring hinges?** A: Do you mean the joint between the lens snd the arm?
