Since these 5.4L Triton plugs are a nightmare, and also not the same size as any of my other generic spark plug sockets, I went ahead and bought the OTC 6900 Spark Plug Socket and I'm glad I did. After taking the advice of many other people and employing several tips and tricks, I was able to get the original (18 year old) factory plugs out of the engine in one piece -- but only just barely. Of the things I struggled with, the spark plug socket wasn't one of them! It fits like a glove and works like a champ.

I love this tool. I've always changed my own spark plugs and even taught my boys how to change their own. So frustrating when you install a spark plug and pull on the extension only to leave the socket in the hole and have to fish it out. This doesn't do that. The first time I pulled it, I laughed and thought what a genius tool for something so simple. This made the experience a lot easier and a lot more efficient. Great tool for the price! Used on my 2010 Mustang and couldn't have been happier!
