Brown rice really is good for dogs, and if you can do it, please do it! If there's any extra left over- mama has some with olive oil and butter lol. This is brown rice, what is there to really say? It's easy to rinse before use. I've never really paid attention to grain length since I'm not trying to write my name on it at a mall kiosk. I have a rice cooker, so I don't pay attention to the cook time, but I think in general, brown rice might take a little longer than white rice. Once cooked, it has a nice, soft, light sticky texture with homey, aromatic flavor. It did take maybe 3 weeks to arrive though. It's a good value and I planned ahead.
