I'm not sure if that is down to the further filtering these might be doing, or the minerals they could be adding. All I know is the water tastes better, fresher/cleaner, I feel more energised after drinking a glass of water using these, and the water seems softer too which I like. These last a long time, you just have to boil them for 10 minutes when you first purchase them, and once a month after that. With each stick lasting for 6 months before it should be thrown out. Given the benefits I find they add to my water, and how long they last I think the price is very affordable! Boiling them is a tiny bit of an inconvenience, but worth it.
