The phone I wanted to use this stand with has a high gloss finish and is very slippery. Before installation I wiped my phone with an alcohol cleaner, the stand stuck to the phone and I left it over night to achieve a high strength bond. The next morning I tried the stand and it immediately came unstuck. I made other attempts but my phone seems to be too slippery for adherence. I tied it on the phone I use for work and it stuck instantly.
