I got this as a slip under a sheer dress, but it can be used as a dress or nightgown. It is easy to care for, just put it in the washer with other delicate items and hang dry or tumble dry on low. I washed mine with the dress I wore it with, and hung both to dry. I wore it while I was getting ready for the event I used it for, and felt that it provided decent coverage to walk around and not be self-conscious or undressed. For someone comfortable wearing bodycon clothing, this would be a great little dress to dress up or down. As a slip, it was comfortable and didn't add bulk, didn't make me sweat or shift/spin under my dress. It was so soft and comfortable to wear, I would consider using this as a nightgown if I needed or wanted to. I got this item in Black and White.
