**Q: will this take a Fisher space pen refill?**
A: No, unfortunately.

**Q: How do I change the ink if it runs out? Where could I buy replacement?**
A: I took a cheap pen, removed the ink/tip combo, cut it to size and replaced the empty one with this new full one. The pens you get for free work great for this.

**Q: Is the pen nib retractable?**
A: The pen nib is not retractable.  The pens cap is threaded and can be screwed in on both ends when the cap is either opened or closed.

**Q: Is this pen good for self defense?**
A: not as good as a gun or knife or baton, but better than tooth n fingernails. if your pepper spray doesnt stop him, you could do some real dammage with this if you have an aggressive enough attitude about it.
