They're made of the same wavy strands, but there are more strands in the cajon brush. I'd say the cajon brush is 3/4-inch in diameter while the Monster is 1/2-inch (not home atm, so estimating). I use both styles for my cajon, but mostly the cajon brush. The thickness gives you a great bass beat while the monster lets you play a little lighter. Also very fun to mess around with. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ End caps fall off easily *by J***T on August 25, 2018* Sounds great, but end caps easily fall off, leaving the sticky nub for you to experience when drumming mid set. Will probably reapply with different glue because these brushes sound really nice.
