Was easy to install. Only complaint is not enough wire so had to splice more wire with what was sent. Love the look without the spare tire on the back of the Jeep

So some people say no directions or poor directions. Yeah, but this isn't exactly rocket surgery. The holes don't line up exactly, however they are close enough. As far as strength, its perfectly strong enough. Held a 8ft firestik cb whip at 70mph for close to 300 miles. Wiring for light was kind of backwards but it isn't impossible to correct.

Does the job. Solidly built. Perfect mount for my license plate relocation. Taillight/plate light is perfect. Nice and bright. Would easily buy this again if I ever needed another. Have had it on for months and no discoloration or fading in the Florida sun.

Im not the greatest at electrical matters, so it took me longer than I expected. There is no wiring harness for either of the lights and the instructions were unclear. I had to cut the harness for the brake light off my Jeep JK and strip the wire and just bond it together with electrical tape, although I would've gone and just used heat shrink. I didn't wire the tag light since it looks difficult, but after that Ive had no problems with the kit. Everything looks good and it includes the plugs for the tailgate which will save you a few bucks. Overall I love the product, just beware that you will need more time then you'd think, but there's a few videos on YouTube that helped me.

Great product, mounts very easy, just have to move the wires around for tag and tail lights. Easy to install.

I had no issues on install for my 2012 jeep wrangler. Fit great wiring i went to youtube and watched a video as the instructions didn't help there.

I tried to do it myself and couldn’t. I ended up having the geek squad at Best Buy finish the wiring when I had them install a backup camera. Still isn’t working as advertised, there is no running light or license plate light. The only got the brake light to work. Find another one.

Product seems sturdy and well made, we will see how the powder coating holds up through winter (the last one flaked and was rusted out within a few seasons). Two major negatives here however.. 1. The holes are not all aligned I was able to only install a portion of the bolts due to the location of the previously drilled holes not lining up with the stock jeep holes. 2. I am replacing a previously failed delete plate which did not utilize all of the bolts as this one does. Due to the fact this kit does not come with any mounting hardware at all it is only install ready if you have all the hardware prior to having this plate.

The wiring is extremely cheap. I broke the brown wire 5 times that I counted. The instructions are less than useless but a review lower down explains it. Don't waste your money. Buy something better because you'll be buying it later anyway.
