Review: Great ball would expensive! - I ordered the replica and this $80 real ball. They are night and day. The replica would be okay for the backyard. It's a little more texturized and slightly more rubbery feel. It's also a tad smaller. We've only played with it a couple times and it already has a spot where the skin of the ball is pulling away. We kept it but for $30 that ball is not great. The real one is far superior, has a more leathery feel, and is the The official size. It's also more than double the price, so if you're playing competitive volleyball, buy this one, however, if your kids are using it in the backyard just go with the replica.

I recently purchased this volleyball, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its quality and performance. Right out of the box, the ball had a clean finish, solid stitching, and a soft but durable synthetic leather cover. It’s comfortable to pass, set, and spike without causing too much sting on the arms or hands, which is especially great during longer practice sessions. In terms of performance, the ball holds its shape well and has consistent bounce and flight. It’s perfectly balanced, so float serves and topspin hits feel predictable and responsive. I’ve used it both for casual games and during training drills, and it performs consistently on both hardwood and sand surfaces. The only minor downside is that it needed a bit of air after the first few uses, but that’s normal for most new balls. Once properly inflated, it’s been holding air pressure reliably.
