Snug Plug started in a small two-bedroom house that Co-Founder, Joel was renting in California. He was getting very frustrated with all of the loose outlets in the house, causing plugs to fall out, appliances to not work and electronics to not charge, many of which he needed on a daily basis. Review: Decent, but overpriced - They work as described, but I don't see the appeal of the glow in the dark functionality. Unless you have these sitting in sunlight for a while or by a light bulb for an extended period of time you're not going to experience the effect. They're a decent value, but not a good value. They are a bit overpriced in my opinion for what you get as just plastic shims to put into an outlet which by the way is not a permanent solution. They do fit well in my outlets, but it's because it's a plastic shim and you can make anything fit with this type of form factor.
Review: PERFECT, HAPPY PURCHASE THANK YOU - BUY THESE!! These are probably temporary fixes, as I would suggest getting new outlets at some point for safety. But for me, they are working PERFECTLY until I replace the outlets. I just moved into a home I just purchased, and EVERY outlet was loose! I had no idea because the homeowners had their TV plugged in when I came (and they were always here - still living there - when I visited so I couldn’t freely observe things). I hired a carpet cleaning company to come tomorrow and when I went to vacuum the floor, I noticed the outlets were so BADLY loose! Like making my vacuum flicker in and out, plug falling out loose. It was BAD. And so I went around testing the outlets and SO MANY were like this!! 😭 I was mad! These snug plugs help SO MUCH, not even kidding! So, yes, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESEEEE LIKE GET THEM THEY WORK, THEY ARE SO GOOD! I almost got the clear ones but figured at night the glow in the dark will actually help me see where the outlet lines are hahahah. **Q: Why does the plug stop working when I put the snug plug in there? Do I need to cut it?**
A: Hi, sorry to hear you are having trouble. When a plug is inserted into the outlet, each prong is entering a "U" shape where it makes contact. Most of the time these prongs get pushed outward with heavy use and this is where Snug Plug is effective. A small percentage of the time the prongs get pushed inward and Snug Plug will not help in this case. This is why we state "Will Fit Most Outlets". You are more than welcome to return in this case and we appreciate you giving Snug Plug a try (although it may help with other outlets in your home)!

**Q: Has this product been UL tested?**
A: We have not yet been UL tested but Snug Plug is the same as using a child outlet protector.

**Q: Are these UL listed? They don't look safe.**
A: There is no mention on the packaging that these are UL listed. That might be a question for the Seller or an Electrician. They are made of a hard plastic, which by my limited knowledge says it is an insulator to electricity, not a conductor, so personally, I feel they are safe, but do what you need to do for peace of mind.

**Q: Ok for 3 prong plug?**
A: Yes it will work the same with 3 prong plugs.

I understand the mixed reviews on this. It is PERFECT if you have a loose plug where you want to keep something safely plugged in for an extended period of time. It is less useful if you simply have an odd loose plug that you need to use sporadically, plugging and unplugging something. Because once you plug something in - it is difficult to unplug it. It becomes a VERY tight fit.
