A: Not big enough for books. This is a small carry on backpack.

**Q: Is this a too big for someone who is 4’11?**
A: not at all.  I purchased the white version, for my 13yr old son.  He's about 5'0, 80lbs, and it doesn't bother his back (even with books, laptop, water bottle).

**Q: Does this one have a laptop sleeve inside?**
A: No it does not.

**Q: Will the water bottle pocket fit a Nalgene?**
A: No
