-Edit 11/18/23: These mufflers apparently have a break in period. I've noticed they've sounded lower in tone and burble more. They sound very good now while retaining a modest tone. WOT sounds heavenly now. Now I definitely recommend these. These are definitely louder than OEM but not as loud as chambered mufflers or glasspacks. The difference between these and the Thrush Hush is these don't have any insulation or packing. These aren't going to wake the neighbors (or anger them). They provide a nice, low grumble even for my little 4.6 V8. They don't drone either, unlike the glasspacks I had on before. I can't say for 4 or 6 cylinder engines, but they sound good on V8. I definitely recommend these if you a daily that you want some volume on.

A great value for the money! This muffler replaced the stock muffler on my stock exhaust on my 1971 Chevy c10. This muffler was shorter than the stock muffler but fit with the two couplers I purchased to install the muffler using clamps. It has a nice throaty sound but is pleasantly quiet when cruising. The sound is not obnoxious but has character and won’t anger your neighbors every time you pull in. It’s hard to believe this great part was this affordable and of such high quality. I am very satisfied especially after living with a stock muffler that was blown apart by rust.

Sounds good. Not to loud. Easy install. Just make sure you order the correct muffler so it installs easily. I had it up and in my truck in 15 minutes. I got a really good deal from Amazon because the original packaging was beat up. So what, who cares? The product was perfect in every manner. No scratches or dents. I was purchasing the muffler not the packaging. Amazon is my go to source for everything now. Just make sure you do your product research prior to purchase. If you get the wrong part it's because you didn't understand what you were ordering. Be nice to Amazon. It's not their fault. Great product at a steal of a price. Thank you!!!!

This muffler was a terrific addition to my 1990 Suzuki Samurai with Thorley headers and 2" exhaust. The muffler gives the tiny 1.3L motor a nice deep tone. I was drawn to this muffler by a Ford Ranger forum because they mentioned a nice sound. On my Samurai, the sound is not too loud and it does not resemble a rice burning glasspack. When I kill the engine, it delivers a nice low grumble. This is not a muffler that will wake the neighbors, which I like because I enjoy music in the cockpit, but you can hear it on acceleration. It's exactly what I was looking for in a high-flow muffler that isn't an obnoxious glasspack. I'm not positive that the muffler deserves credit but my Samurai can breathe much more freely with headers, 2" exhaust and this muffler. It's much bigger than my stock Samurai muffler so I assume there is plenty of room for the exhaust to flow. I picked up HP and a great sound. One disclaimer, I gave 4 stars because this is not a brand name muffler. I've seen it listed on the interwebs as Flowmaster, Dynomax, and Thrush but it's actually generic. There is no brand stamped on the muffler and my exhaust guy told me it was generic. I can't speak on the durability of it's construction but two days after install, this thing is boss. I'm seriously considering putting it on my 1990 Ford Ranger.

Literally perfect! I wanted to add a little extra performance to my 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe. I wanted a little deeper tone, but none of the annoying buzzing or super loud, fake power sound. At an ifke this thing has just a nice low rumble, barely louder than stock. When accelerating, it sound so deep and smooth, exactly what I wanted! I paired this exhaust with an AEM high flow intake filter. I can definitely feel an increase in power and my gas mileage increased by about 3 mpg. If you are thinking about this for a 4 cylinder, don't hesitate, at under $30, it's a no brainier!

Took my exhaust from rattley and harsh to smooth yet, when the revs get high, starts to scream. Each exhaust pulse is like a whoosh rather than a crack. Its not always about the decibels but also the type of sound and I'm a big fan of this one. Great for cruising on the freeway, even with my poor gear ratios that make me run 3500rpm. Any louder than this would be uncomfortable and obnoxious for daily driving in a car with little insulation (i.e old cars), this is perfect.

You cant get these this cheep in town and they are worth it and some . Ordered these for a 1973 corvette and they sound great on low end and help muffle the noise at high rpm. These aren’t $200 or $300 mufflers they are $25 mufflers and they do great

i like the sound, a little quiet for my application but good for a daily driver. But my exhaust backfired on upshift and it expanded the whole case and caused ripples to form. im afraid it will completely blow up eventually

Me pareció perfecto para reducir el sonido catastrófico que tenia en mi jeep y ademas quedo a la medida. Este únicamente lo soldé al catalizador y despues lo instale. Esto paso en un JEEP CJ7 del año 81 de 6 cilindros wn linea.

Worked well on a custom jeep exhaust. Sound is not too loud, good overall tone.

Thrush Turbo Muffler with 2" inlet and outlet works great on a stock Pontiac Sunfire . Adds just a touch more power and a perfect sound to your car . On the inlet you will need an adapter size 2" i.d. to 2" o.d. The sound is not a Cop caller , it's perfect and will last here in Canada about 2 years .
