The container blade/bearing stopped working properly and so I needed a new container. I wanted one just like what I had. I wanted the more professional looking container that didn't have anything on the handle. The container is the same however the lid does not have the squeeze top like my original. I like the new top fine or I can still use my old one. Overall it is an authentic Vitamix container and I love it. Works perfect with my machine and now it is running like new! Attached is a photo of it by itself or with my old one to compare (the new one is on the right). The top is more firm and has two side latches. I thought I was getting the squeeze top with the container like my original so was surprised when it arrived but the top is easy to take on and off and I like it fine. I was worried because of a few comments on here making it seem like the container was a fake or cheaply made. The container has the same thickness and quality with the Vitamix branding as my original and is really nice. It is perfect! Review: Excellent product - I just received this product. Exactly within two days and in great packaging and condition. It seems to work perfectly and is a much improved design from the canister that came with my 5000. It does fit perfectly! I have suggested this information be added to the posting and a representative of Vitamix said they receive frequent calls about this from existing users who purchase new containers. It is a much nicer container than the one which was suppled with my Vitamix 5000. 7/3/2014: revised my review to 5 starts to reflect the excellent quality and great customer service of this product and vendor. I still suggest commenting for users Vitamix who are ordering as a replacement part, the holes are a new feature. I have a 7500. Vitamix literature suggests that it probably will fit. I would ask them directly though. **Q: Will the 32oz container work on the professional 750 - since it does not have the same 'square' base?** A: Yes, I have the combo and it works (it fits inside the rubber feet on the machine instead of outside) **Q: which tamper tool fits the 32 oz container?** A: Order the mini-tamper from Vitamix.com. Amazon does not sell the mini-tamper. I have noticed that some people recommend using the longer tamper that comes with the tall 64 oz. container, because that particular tamper has a step that in theory will prevent it from reaching the blades in the shorter 32 oz. container. Unfortunately, there have been too many instances of that tamper being pushed vigorously enough to cause it to go past the step and hit the blades of the 32 oz. container, which destroys the end of the tamper. It's not worth the risk... just get the correct tamper for the job, the mini-tamper. **Q: Is it 110V or 220V?** A: This is just the container. The bearings in my original Vitamix blender container (which I bought over 20 years ago) were leaking and contaminating by shakes.
