I've purchased a couple of different brands of inulin from Amazon and this is probably the best value for money I can find. So would recommend it for that reason. I've found including inulin in my diet to be beneficial. Firstly, I don't eat enough in the day to get in the RDA of fiber, so this really helps beef up my intake. I haven't noticed any negative tummy or toilet symptoms and I have IBS! Typically I take 15mg a day, this spread throughout the day as 1 teaspoon in my coffee. It serves as a sweetener too, so it's been nice to be able to replace the artificial sweeteners I was using with inulin. If you are considering doing the same just be aware that inulin is by far a gentler sweetness. So if you're used to the very strong artificial sweetener taste, it might take a bit of getting used to. You can also just dissolve the amount of inulin you want in warm water and take it this way. It sounds weird but actually is a fairly soothing drink! Plus it tastes like candy floss!

I've been buying this for over a year to use in my coffee as a fibre supplement. It gives a very pleasant subtly sweet flavour. It may take your stomach a little time to get used to it so start with small quantities! Quality is good and I have stayed with this brand as I'm very satisfied with it.

This is my 2nd bag of Inulin Prebiotic Fibre Powder 1kg by Puresweet®. I use this to make l.Reuteri yoghurt, which it is excellent for. As a prebiotic, it helps fuel the good bacteria producing robust growth and a potent culture. It also makes the yoghurt nice and thick and creamy. Add it when heating the milk to make sure it dissolves properly. I also use it for its other health benefits as a soluble fibre. But it isn't a sugar substitute - it's barely sweet at all. It says that it 'Easily dissolves in liquids' - it does not - it forms clumps unless the liquid is hot. I have not found that it helps with sleep either, sadly. Make sure to keep the bag sealed, if any moisture gets in, it will make it go rock hard.

Completely tasteless when a teaspoon size is added to coffee. It’s early days yet but I think it is making a difference to my gut health for the better. It’s a huge bag so will last a long time at one spoonful a day and it’s good value for money.

This is a good subsitute for sugar. I bought this to supplement my fibre intake. The packet lasted 3 months. For the price it is good, however the taste and texture could be better. This can be used to sweeten food and drink, and is best dissolved.

Great product I have deficit fibers on my daily meals. This product is super. I like the natural taste and I feel my gut 100% at top level. Super i will.buy it again.

Great way of getting some extra fibre and tastes identical to candy floss. Only issue is I’ve noticed it can be very difficult to get it to fully dissolve in drinks

Not that healthy for my guts
