Review: This is the best Vegan DHA EPA product so far. Solution to fishy taste in my review. - Have noticed positive changes in my eyesight and mood since taking this supplement. I like this particular product because it has no extra chemicals such as carrageenan or caramel color unlike the other brands of vegan DHA/EPA supplements. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a strong fishy smell and taste BUT this is easily solved. I found two solutions to the problem. One way is to take it with a teaspoon of lemon juice. The second and best way is to purchase vegetarian gel capsules, 0 or 00 size (I use 0 size caps), and make your own pills by using the eyedropper that already comes with this product. The result is ZERO fishy taste! Only make one pill at a time because the gel capsule will probably dissolve from the liquid if given time. A whole serving fills one 0 size capsule. Please vote this review as helpful, if you found it to be so other users will find the solution to the fishy taste.

That being said, I'll have to save this for when I can add it to something else that has an extremely overpowering flavor. The taste is just too much for me. It tastes like seaweed and lemon but oily, which I completely understand and refuse to give a bad review because of my tastebuds. I knew what to expect when I bought it and figured I'd give it a try anyways. I, however, have purchased the deva vegan omega 3-dha liquid gels in the past and again after this product and like them just fine. I'm willing to pay that extra price so that I can actually get it into my tummy. :)

**Q: Is it supposed to have chunks in it?**
A: mfg says citric acid and stevia may settle down that's why the label says "shake well before using"

**Q: How many drop does it take to make 1000mg?**
A: I believe the dropper measures in ml and it takes approximately 2 1/2 ml. or 70 drops.

**Q: Is this hexane and carrageenan free?**
A: The label says it is hexane free. It does not contain carrageenan either.

**Q: Is this product gluten-free?**
A: Yes. It is gluten free. More specific information is copied and pasted below. I tried this whole I was pregnant because swallowing pills make me throw up but I couldn't handle the algae flavor. No matter what I put it in I could take it even if it was one drop in a blender full of protein smoothie. I also was pregnant though so my taste buds were being weird. ### ⭐ Don't waste your money

Absolutely vile tasting. Tried not even a whole dose and it made me gag and nearly vomit. I'm vegetarian and have trouble swallowing pills so I need a liquid omega supplement. This is a brand I have trusted in the past, but this product is revolting. Unfortunately it cannot be returned, so I may try it with juice as others have done if I can ever summon the fortitude to attempt to ingest this repulsive concoction again.
