The unit was packaged well in a tiny bubble wrap bag completely sealed and shipped in a larger bubble wrap bag. You can tell that the quality of the product is excellent right out of the bag. The cord length that connects to the peripheral is of perfect length with just enough extra slack to fit in the empty space between the power button housing and the pin connector. On mine, the female connector on this unit had to face up to connect to the male pins. Make sure of the proper orientation on your laptop model type before pushing the white plastic connector end into its housing on the PCB board. Review: Worked Great but not Perfect - I bought this to replace the OEM power volume button switch board that damaged on my Dell Inspiron 7377 2-in1 notebook computer. The product worked well enough but the cord was too short to be routed along the same path as the OEM unit. Fortunately there was an alternative path I could use to get the plug to its destination.
