Although some of the dock's ports worked, I was unable to successfully connect to a secondary display via an HDMI cable. I have a decent amount desktop support experience, so I tried to troubleshoot the issue. Updates to drives/firmware, different HDMI cables, a different display device, etc. all proved unsuccessful. Still researching 2xDisplayPort docking station options. If I can't find anything reasonably priced, I may end up returning the laptop. :( **Q: Will this work with hp elitebook 830 g7?** A: Don't waste your money.
